Nikon D5000

Have you seen the new Nikon D5000?   It comes with a unique 2.7″ LCD vari-angle monitor which makes it easy to take pictures from any angle, 12.3 megapixels and EXPEED image processing system for high definition images.   It also offers Live View with four AF modes and enhanced creativity with HD movie function for high impact movie clips.   This is by no means a top-level DSLR but it could prove a worthwhile first stepping-stone for someone wanting to upgrade from a compact. If you’re looking for something with a few more features, take a look at the D90.

  1. I have the Nikon D70. I feel so out dated by Nikon with all the new cameras. I want a D5000. It looks like an awesome camera. I believe Nikon makes wonderful cameras no matter what. I love my D70

  2. I have the same sort of level Canon (1000d) possibly thinking the Nikon is slightly better for this level. Would have loved to have HD video.
