An opportunity to be a luxury hotel inspector

Have you got the high expectations and eye for detail that’s essential for any self-respecting hotel critic? The Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa resort, located in the picturesque Suffolk countryside, is seeking out discerning guests to experience their new Country Lodges for free. If you are a lover of luxe living, then you could be the ideal candidate! Provided you have these necessary attributes, you could be offered the chance of free accommodation at this stunning location. All that’s asked in return is that you complete a detailed survey form at the end of your stay, giving your honest opinion about your experience. With the first bookings being taken for early April 2012, these exclusive Lodges are perfect for a sophisticated staycation for groups of all sizes, from couples looking for a romantic retreat to groups planning a golfing or spa break. Each Lodge is made up of a ground-floor and a first-floor apartment, each of which can be booked individually, or the entire building can be taken over by a single party of up to 12 people. Inside, the sumptuous interiors have been finished to the highest specification, in a contemporary style which reflects the glamour of 1940s Hollywood – while the open-plan layout and large balconies provide the perfect luxury lifestyle space. Located on the banks of a beautiful lake, between the Hotel and the delightful countryside of the Dedham Vale, the five Lodges occupy a tranquil spot – yet have immediate access to all the Hotel’s facilities. Use of the luxurious indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room is complimentary during your stay.  You could also indulge in a spa treatment or two, browse the on-site shops, play a leisurely round of golf on one of the two Championship courses, take a gentle walk in the countryside, or, if you’re feeling energetic, you could put yourself through your paces in the gym or hit the squash court*. If you feel like venturing further afield, the location is within easy reach of historic towns including Colchester, Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds. Keen cooks will be pleased to find that each apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, but if you simply want to kick back and relax, why not make use of the gourmet options available? You can order takeaway-style delights from the Hotel, delivered to your door, or book a table in the AA Rosette Lakes Restaurant. Alternatively, if you book ahead, you can arrange for a chef and waiter to come and serve you a private dinner in your own Lodge. So how do you become a ‘Hotel Inspector’? Simply register by 12th March 2012, for your chance to be one of the first to stay at this new destination.  After the closing date, different types of guests – including couples, families, and groups of friends of all ages – will be selected at random, and will be offered free accommodation between Monday 9th and Monday 16th April 2012, for either a weekend or a Monday-Friday break. For full terms and conditions, see the registration page. To be notified of other great travel competitions, sign up at Travel Competitions.
