New luxury beachfront bungalows at The Jalousie Plantation in St Lucia

The Jalousie Plantation in St Lucia has announced the opening of eight stunning new Luxury Beachfront Bungalows set right on the white sands of Sugar Beach and just steps from the water’s edge. The opening of the new accommodation is the latest component in a multi-million dollar enhancement project that will see the property re-branded and re-launched later this year as it continues under the management of the Viceroy Hotel Group. Designed by prominent Caribbean architect Lane Pettigrew in conjunction with Jalousie’s owner, Roger Myers, the bungalows (two of which have the option of a two bedroom configuration) feature contemporary décor, hard wood floors, high beamed ceilings, state of the art fixtures and fittings, and custom made furniture in white. The exteriors are designed to blend into the beach environment with thatched roofs and white washed adobe walls. Each bungalow boasts a private thatched shade area to the front complete with sun lounges and table and chairs, and a large private courtyard with a Jacuzzi. Guests have the option of leaving their privacy blind raised to enjoy uninterrupted views of the sparkling Caribbean, or lowering their blind and shutting out the world. As with all accommodations at The Jalousie Plantation, Sugar Beach, the new Luxury Beachfront Bungalows also feature personalized butler service, flat screen television, complimentary WiFi, iPod docking station and a host of other modern amenities.
