Spain’s next top 3 hotels

The world has long been aware of the bountiful delights on offer across Spain, be it those glorious beaches, the world renowned Spanish cuisine or the overwhelmingly diverse choice of holiday activities. One part of the Spanish holiday experience that is often undersold, however, is the choice of accommodation, with all-inclusive resorts remaining a firm favourite amongst budget-conscious holiday makers. But with cheap flights to Spain now more abundant than ever, if you’re wanting to ensure the ultimate holiday experience, why not consider one of the following hotels to give your break that special something extra. Barcelo Asia Gardens Hotel, Benidorm A far cry from the resort complexes popularised by the TV series Benidorm, this fantastic hotel is located alongside the Sierra Cortina mountain range and within an acre of pine forest. This sprawling location not only provides the perfect setting for the plethora of sporting pursuits on offer, but has also allowed for an exceptional number of both swimming pools and restaurants. A strong Asian theme cuts through almost every facet of the Barcelo Asia Gardens Hotel, be it the architecture, gardens, spa treatments or restaurants, helping to envelope you in a world far from the Costa you may know. An incredible location and overwhelming amount of activities place this hotel head and shoulders above other, but it’s the consistently high standards that really set it apart. Hotel La Manga Club Principe Felipe, Murcia This slice of luxury really is one for those looking to stay active whilst away, though with a gorgeous spa club available you may find yourself waylaid en route. Set across a lush 1,400 acre estate, sports really are at the core of the  magnificent Hotel La Manga Club Principe Felipe, its three 18-hole golf courses sure to put a smile on any golfers face. It’s not just golfers who’ll be in sporting heaven though, with 28 tennis courts, 8 football pitches and much more besides. And when it’s time to settle down to a meal, the hotels 15 restaurants and bars will make sure you’ve plenty to choose from. Ushuaia Beach Hotel, Ibiza If holiday time equals party time for you, then look no further than Ushuaia Beach, a hotel that’s realised having a good time doesn’t have to be at the expense of lacklustre accommodation. It’s all about having a great time when staying here, and with a fantastic beach-side location and world-renowned DJs and artists regularly performing on their poolside stage you may find that sleep is the only thing lacking here. When you do break away from poolside partying you’ll find the rooms and facilities as cool as the night- life, with a slick décor complimented by a world of technological mod-con’s. If the previous night’s dancing has taken its toll, why not ease out those kinks at the hotels Wellness Centre, a hot-stone treatment being just the thing to soothe away the pain.

  1. Definitely a case of “how the other half live”! Very surprised to see that there is a resort of such quality in “Benidorm”! Never thought I would see the day.
