Being a destination wedding photographer I have one more advice – have a civil ceremony in your home town to get rid of the legal stuff – and then a romantic ceremony at destination.
Yes be very sympathetic to your surroundings. Take all the advice and you’ll find you’ll be more in tune with your wedding day and event. I’ve been on board and provided entertainment in some wonderful wedding venues where i’ve notice wedding couples far more engaging with their venue once the civil ceremony had been decreed at home.
