Photograph of the week: Inspiration Point

On his 2012 visit to the closest of the Channel Islands National Park islands, Josh McNair stumbled upon this amazing gem known as Inspiration Point. This tip of the Northern part of the island overlooks two smaller islands that you cannot go on. The shape of the islands with their steep cliff faces and the dual waves crashing on each side provided an amazing sight that probably changes every time you visit the island. Josh was blown away by it and snapped this picture. With only minimal colour correction it still looks beautiful but it pales in comparison to the view if you actually visit. Thank you to Josh and California Through My Lens for permission to re-produce the image.
