An airport worker’s letter of resignation… on a cake!

In what is surely one of the sweetest ways to say goodbye, a Stansted Airport employee has handed in his letter of resignation… on a cake.  (Yes, you read that right!). Immigration officer Chris Holmes took this extraordinary measure, writing “Having recently become a father I now realise how precious life is and how important it is to spend my time doing something that makes me, and other people, happy. For that reason, I hereby give notice of my resignation, in order that I may devote my time and energy to my family, and my cake business.” Resignation cake This marketing stunt from the 31-year old is likely to do the rounds on the internet, and his cake business should therefore hit the ground running. We wish Chris well with his new family and new business, www.mrcake.co.uk Resignation cake
