A luxury hotel room in a 20-foot container

Over in Antwerp there’s a unique pop-up luxury hotel using 20-foot containers. Currently based at the Rijnkaai, Sleeping Around‘s four hotel rooms are housed in containers next to the Schelde, along with a breakfast/lounge container and a sauna container. Each ‘room’ comes complete with floating box-spring bed with high quality linen, XXL Hansgrohe raindance shower and Dyson air conditioning system. Container hotel, Antwerp Container hotel, Antwerp Container hotel, Antwerp Container hotel, Antwerp Sleeping Around are inviting suggestions as to where they should be based next.   1. Very unique….very clever! Seems like it would work in any major city. They could be plopped down anywhere. I’m just not sure what it would be like to wake up, open the door, and be in the middle of some pedestrian-type area. Still, very clever.
