Sprawling across more than 6,000 sq feet of indoor and outdoor space, the Baglioni’s Penthouse Suite is the ultimate in luxury and took many months of effort to finish. Milan-based designers Rebosio+Spagnulo recruited the finest artisans and craftsmen to create truly breathtaking interiors and exteriors across the suite.

Bespoke pieces include custom-made furniture from Gabana Arredamenti and a $20,000 chandelier in the master bedroom by renowned Venice glassmaker Lu Murano. Beautiful modern glass lighting creations by Vistosi complete the look along with fabrics from Domus Market and stunning marble bath by Mongardini. No detail has been left to chance in this huge, exquisite private suite, which has one master bedroom, two further bedrooms, a dining room and living area, along with a kitchen and bar.

Blending contemporary design, with traditional Italian style, the Penthouse is a haven of soothing creams, dove grey, pale blues and marble floors. Outside, the terrace wraps around the suite, giving 250sq metres of outdoor space. A private jacuzzi by Kos allows guests to relax while soaking up the birds-eye views of some of Rome’s most famous sights, stretching from the Sistine Chapel to the Colosseum and beyond. There’s also a fitness area on the terrace, with Technogym equipment, surely making it one of the most scenic workout spots on the planet.

A butler is on hand along with the services of a private chef and a barman who can whip up some of the Baglioni’s delectable cocktail specialities.
