The world’s most insane rope swings!

Like thrills? Then about these extreme rope swings? This first video shows people swinging on a rope underneath the Corona Arch of Moab in Utah. The filming was done by YouTube sensation Devin Graham over a two day period; it’s a pendulum style swing anchored at five different points and made from 150 feet of rope, with a freefall of 130 feet. Not for the faint-hearted! They also rather kindly made a video showing how the video was made, which offers some interesting insights. More recently, Devin also shot a 400 foot freefall pendulum canyon rope swing. Here’s the video, set in some stunning scenery. And for the making of this video, click below. Although the location of the footage of this latest stunt is not disclosed, apparently it is in southern Utah, so presumably somewhere such as Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park or Grand Staircase-Esclante National Monument where there’s a high concentration of slot canyons. One final note… do not attempt these kinds of stunts if you don’t know what you’re doing. Someone died earlier this year attempting the Corona Arch of Moab swing because the length of rope used was misjudged.
