Andy Murray, the reigning Wimbledon champion and the first British winner of the men’s singles Wimbledon Championship for an incredible 77 years, has opened a luxury hotel in Scotland. Cromlix, which is close to the tennis player’s home town of Dunblane, is a 15-room five star luxury hotel with a restaurant overseen by French chef Albert Roux (owner of La Gavroche in London, the first UK restaurant to be awarded three Michelin stars).
The hotel comes complete with its own loch, chapel and tennis court, as well as what we think might be the longest hotel driveway in the UK…
Rates start from £200 per night for a small double room out of season, to up to £595 per night for a suite in season. However, Cromlix is already fully booked for the Ryder Cup which this year is being held at Gleneagles, less than 20 miles away.
The hotel is also being included in a James Bond-themed guided tour of the country being offered by VisitScotland to Russian holiday operators, as it features rooms named after 007 actor Sean Connery and series creator Ian Fleming.

Wow, this Cromlix a luxury hotel in Scotland is perfect for tennis players. And £200 per night for a small double room, I think is a reasonable price for a luxury hotel.
