More and more people are looking for that little bit extra when booking their luxury safari – they want to be able to come home and talk about something which others havenÂ’t done. Quad safaris are taking off in a big way in Africa and weÂ’re really not surprised. Quads allow you to get into places that other vehicles cannot go, and as such you can explore some of the most remote, wild and pristine areas of Africa. Many of them are completely private so you have a private guide and fully staffed mobile camp all to yourself. They can be fantastic if youÂ’re planning on taking your family on safari as they add that element of the unusual which is bound to keep every age entertained. Quads are easy and fun to drive and all of the below safaris are easy to fit into any luxury African safari. 1. Fantastic blog! I have always wanted to explore Africa and quad safaris definitely look like a fun (and different) way to do it. The private tour guide is also great if most of the tours include this.
