  1. Traveling while taking steps to sustain our planet is certainly a growing ambition for travelers of all ages. This article has good areas to help. In the world’s growing acceptance of a sharing economy, Home Exchange is another way to ensure we are being gentle with our environment. What many do not know is that it can be just as exclusive and luxurious as some resorts, maybe it is something you would like to consider on your next vacation.

  2. What are your thoughts on offsetting your emissions? It’s likely that the flight to your destination is the biggest ‘environmental sin’ of your trip. Do you think that’s a worthwhile endeavour to make the trip a bit greener?

  3. Hello Adi, Thanks for your comment. Flying is most definitely the enemy of sustainability but whilst people will fly, I was hoping my suggestions would at least enable the rest of their vacation to have a conscience! To answer your question, anything that offsets is a good idea. I really believe that the more anyone does, the better, even with all the bad press about offsetting being greenwashing.

  4. I love option 2 to give back. There’s no greater good then giving someone else a chance to survival while you holiday.
