Tel Aviv is surprisingly cosmopolitan. As Israel’s second largest city and one of the most modern, it makes an up and coming destination for luxury seekers. But if you knew anything about this charming city, you wouldn’t expect any less; abundant is classy coffee houses and high end restaurants, Tel Aviv is a great place to be. If you only have 2 days to explore this vibrant city, be sure to embrace every minute with this sample itinerary. Day 1 in Tel Aviv 11am: Start your day with a delicious brunch at Chef Avi Biton’s Adora Restaurant (located on Ben Yehuda Street). This is one of the most accessible fine dining establishments in the city and it certainly boasts the most luxurious breakfast in town! Don’t come here if you’re in a rush though because there are plenty of breakfast delights to be sampled and you’ll need a good hour or so. Ben Yehuda Street copy 1pm: After a lavish brunch, take a leisurely tour of Kikar Hamedina (“State Square”) which is Tel Aviv’s largest shopping plaza. If you’ve got cash to splash, this is the perfect place to spend it in various boutiques and luxury shops. 4pm: To complete your day of luxuries, check yourself into Spa Neve Tzedek for some serious pampering. The Neve Tzedek Spa is renowned for using natural and ancient therapies for both healing and beauty – just make sure you book the Luxury Pampering Package which comes complete with champagne and chocolates! 7pm: After your relaxing spa experience, book a table at the famously exclusive Catit Restaurant by Chef Meir Adoni. Grab a typical Israeli breakfast along one of the many trendy cafes along the promenade and enjoy pleasant views of the Mediterranean Sea. After breakfast, take a stroll north to check out the gorgeous beaches. 1pm: You’ll find some delightful lunch spots on Bialik Street. This part of the city is brimming with arty cafes and the best Tel Avivian coffee shops. Come here to people watch and don’t forget to taste the local hummus if you get peckish. 4pm: Fill your afternoon with some cultural sightseeing and don’t miss the beautiful Yarkon Park, Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Great Synagogue. If you want the finest in fresh seafood, there’s no place quite like it. 9pm: Finish your holiday with a bang and head to cocktail bar Hide & Seek, where they take mixology very seriously. If you want the best cocktails in Israel, be sure to whet your whistle in this lavish little bar. The cocktail menu changes seasonally but you can always expect the selection to be well curated and extremely creative.
