Keen aviators may doubt flying at night with a single engine, but regular Cirrus pilot and award-winning agency owner, David Martin, has reassured us about this, “The chute eliminates the cons as it does in the single piston. Would I fly at night in another single engine aircraft? No. In the Vision? Yes.”
The Williams International engine can produce around 1800 pounds of thrust, which allows the Cirrus Vision to fly about 1200 nautical miles. So you could fly by yourself from New York to Dallas.

This looks like the perfect family flying machine. Might be a little tight with luggage. Love to have one though.
Not sure that exactly qualifies as “affordable” in my humble little world (lol), but a private jet as capable as that for under 2mm is interesting enough for me to add it to my bucket list. I do enjoy flying commercial (seriously!) but I’d give it up in a second if I could afford a plane like that.
Damn, still out of my price range then! Good to know there are slightly more affordable ones out there. Sounds like a huge difference in price actually if you’re saying the competitor costs twice as much. I do like the larger windows. That’s part of the thrill of being in a plane of any description isn’t it, seeing the view all around you from such an awesome perspective.
