In September 2017, Small Luxury Hotels of the World re-created and re-launched their superb membership programme. You could stay in a beautiful, small luxury hotel on a desert island that is pure barefoot bliss, or you may choose to sojourn at a wonderful, palatial mansion. Currently you can choose from over 500 luxury hotels in more than 80 countries. Generous & greater personal journeys INVITED has been created after significant customer research. The membership programme offers new generous member benefits, which are integrated with new marketing technology. The end result is that INVITED has the ultimate in functionality to deliver generous and greater personalised journeys for you. The more you stay, the better it gets Filip Boyen, CEO, Small Luxury Hotels of the World told us that, “The premise behind the new programme is simple. We’ve listened to our guests and now we’re giving them what they really want, a greater focus on personalising their stays with us. Not only will they get more of the usual SLH touches with each and every stay such as complimentary breakfast, early check in and late check out but SLH has also invested in bringing more personal ‘small luxuries’ to our members. With INVITED, the more you stay, the better it gets.” What are the INVITED benefits? INVITED opens up a world of instant benefits to members, which are available from your very first stay. Members can enjoy exclusive rates, a complimentary continental breakfast for two, every day of your stay, along with complimentary WiFi. Subject to availability, you can also check in early and check out late. Room upgrades are also available, along with lots of lovely extra perks, such as bonus nights, paid for courtesy of SLH. Get Indulged with special birthday gifts, such as a complimentary night’s stay at one of the 520 small luxury hotels. If you recommend a friend, you can also receive complimentary nights, up to 3 recommendations per membership lifetime. Enjoy small luxuries specially chosen and awarded to you depending on your activity and engagement with the brand. Here are the 3 tiers and how you can move between them Invited – is available from your very first stay, so no previous stay is necessary. After your first qualified stay, you move straight up to Inspired. Inspired – is the tier that you will be in from your second qualified stay until completion of your fifth qualified stay. Indulged – is the tier you reach when you travel for your sixth qualified stay or you spend over $6,000 USD The membership benefits are only due for qualifying stays. Membership eligibility for the higher tiers will expire if the member hasn’t achieved the required number of stays or spend over the twelve month period. What is a qualifying stay? A qualifying stay needs to be booked via SLH channels, which are SLH.com / agents.slh.com / SLH app / voice / GDS (but excluding NRXQ) / slhhotels.cn. You need to state your member ID at the time of reservation, either online via the SLH channels or on the phone. How do I join? At the time of joining, you don’t need to book any hotel and INVITED is free to join. Head over to slh.com to become a member and whenever you decide to book, you will be immediately eligible to enjoy benefits and added value from the first stay. 1. Excellent! A good rewards program is a really powerful incentive to me, but it’s important that it has benefits that are actually useful. These benefits all sound excellent (especially the opportunity to get a complimentary stay), and with such a large portfolio of luxury hotels there seems like a lot of opportunity to participate. I’ll go get registered so I’m ready for my next trip.

  2. What a great initiative on the part of Small Luxury Hotels. I like the sound of all those benefits, especially the potential to get complimentary nights for referring friends or when it’s your birthday… nice!

  3. We love staying at the Small luxury hotels, we love that they have family friendly suites, perfect for travelling families with teenage kids that need a little more room. Love these new rewards program.

  4. Oh wow, I’ve never heard of this kind of concept before, it’s such a good idea! I struggle so much with choosing and planning destinations for holidays, and so it’s always so great to be able to put your trust in someone else that really knows what they’re doing. I love that you get the special little touches like complimentary breakfast, that really makes all the difference!!
