Awesome Experiences provides travel experiences of a lifetime for busy people. Helicopter over the ultimate adventure destination of Mount Everest, track gorillas in Rwanda, explore the otherworldly lunar landscapes of South America or visit Rajasthan and the Pushkar Camel Fair. Escape from work for just 7 days – or a fraction longer if you have time – and tick off those bucket-list dreams. Awesome Experiences’ experts enable you to turn your brief week away into an unforgettable adventure of a lifetime. And now with Awesome Experiences’ Pioneer Club – which is free to join – you could receive a tempting 20% discount on your first thrilling adventure. Would you take part in exhilarating Holi in Rajasthan – the riotous and rainbow-coloured Hindu festival? Or would you seek to hike amongst the rhododendron forests and prayer-flag strewn villages on the slopes of Annapurna before you take a helicopter to soar above the snow-scattered peaks? William Burton founded Awesome Experiences, frustrated that he was simply too busy with work to really fulfil his travel dreams. Busy lives mean people are often time-poor. He had the desire for adventure but not the time to devote to the meticulous planning required for a flawless trip. Burton therefore recruited a talented and passionate team with 85 years of global travel experience. They study flight timetables to produce seamless travel, select from a great range of hotels and work with travel partners who are utterly reliable. “So, whether it’s seeking to go on a wild snorkelling adventure with whale sharks off the coast of Mexico or hiking the Inca Trail, there are a huge variety of experiences designed to suit busy people,” says William Burton who is CEO of this flourishing company. You will have your own experienced guide who will take you to the unmissable sights you want to see and answer the questions you want answering. No time is wasted, there are no time-fillers. But sufficient relaxation time is built-in for you to unwind. Awesome Experiences prides itself on providing travel with a different perspective. You could take a sunrise balloon ride over Myanmar’s largest temple complex whilst in Chile you could take a star safari into the vast sky of the Atacama Desert. What’s more, Awesome Experiences is inviting adventurers to release their inner Michael Palin or Joanna Lumley. Any traveller who records his or her awesome adventure in a blog or on a vlog which is subsequently used on the Awesome Experiences website will receive a voucher of between £1,000 and £2,500 towards their next trip. Perhaps they will discover ancient Myanmar, only recently opened to visitors. Maybe their camera will frame some of the globe’s must dramatic landscapes in Chile. Or will they find the words to describe the sensory overload as they explore the grandeur of colonial cities and mist-shrouded lost villages on a surreal Peru adventure? Visit the Awesome Experiences website to browse through the vast range of unmissable experiences on offer. You are just a few clicks away from your ultimate adventure. 1. Utter genius! It is so simple but exactly what we need with our busy lives today. It is one of those “Why didn’t I think of that first?” ideas. I suppose it’s why I’m not an entrepreneurial millionaire. One of the things that impressed me is that they build in some breaks too. I’ve been on too many trips where every minute is booked and you don’t get enough sleep. When you get home you feel as if you need another holiday but Awesome Experiences seem to have got that covered.

    1. Yes, good point, Caroline… I think the breaks are important, especially when you consider that we’re talking here about people who are so busy that they’re trusting someone else with their travel plans. They don’t want to be just as busy when on vacation!

  2. Awesome Experiences – Awesome website too. I’ve just taken a look at their site. The photography is stunning. You just want to pack your bags and go.

  3. I used to think I was widely travelled but this website made me think again. Clicking through the website I found events and places I’d never heard of. I like the idea of travelling on my own, no hanging about for other people, no wasting time on my holiday.

    1. I couldn’t agree more. It’s tough being busy and then maybe having a relationship … you sometimes forget to take time out for yourself. That’s one of the most important things in life that seems so easy to forget…

  4. There’s definitely a market for this type of travel. I don’t know of anyone in my circle who is not busy. Imagine having everything ready for you, and all you need is money then just to pack and go. Saves a lot of time researching the internet and booking services.

  5. For me, part of the fun of travel is in the planning. That said, I can see how there is a definite call for a service like this. People are so busy chasing their tails these days that they can’t see the wood for the trees. We lead such busy lives that the temptation of just having someone take care of it all must be very great for quite a number of people.

    1. I get that Jake but yes, you’re right… so many of us live such busy and hectic lives that having it all done for you must hold a lot of appeal for those people who are financially comfortable but relatively time poor.

  6. I’ve got to admit that I enjoy planning my travel but some of the trips they offer are way out of my league. I’d love to do Chile but I wouldn’t know where to start. With many of these Awesome Experiences trips we’re into “Things we don’t know that we don’t know” territory. I’ll happily plan a gite holiday in France but I’ll leave a Tiger Safari in Rajasthan to the experts.

    1. Yes, that’s a good point, Maggie… for some destinations it can take an awful lot of planning, particularly if you’re considering somewhere that you’ve never visited before or have limited experience of.

  7. Looking around a very frantic office I can see where Awesome Experiences is coming from. Everyone is beavering away so that they get some time off at Xmas. And then will they be able to snatch anything more than a week before the end of the financial year? Work just gets more and more intense. I think Awesome Experiences is on to something here.

  8. Many people say that the world’s getting smaller. In fact, as I get older I tend to disagree with that statement. I used to think that I was widely travelled but I didn’t have an inkling of some of the experiences and places covered in this piece. These great photos have left me gobsmacked.

I wouldn’t have much idea about how to plan one of these trips and even if I did I wouldn’t have the time to get it organised properly. A lot of us desperately need people like Awesome Experiences to take the trouble out of travel.

  9. When I first read this I dismissed it as nonsense. Since then for better and for worse, work has grown and grown. I’m not complaining as the remuneration has improved too.

Much to my surprise I was drawn to look at this page again. I want a very special adventure but can not spare too many days away from the business.
