Utter genius! It is so simple but exactly what we need with our busy lives today. It is one of those “Why didn’t I think of that first?” ideas. I suppose it’s why I’m not an entrepreneurial millionaire. One of the things that impressed me is that they build in some breaks too. I’ve been on too many trips where every minute is booked and you don’t get enough sleep. When you get home you feel as if you need another holiday but Awesome Experiences seem to have got that covered.
Yes, good point, Caroline… I think the breaks are important, especially when you consider that we’re talking here about people who are so busy that they’re trusting someone else with their travel plans. They don’t want to be just as busy when on vacation!

I couldn’t agree more. It’s tough being busy and then maybe having a relationship … you sometimes forget to take time out for yourself. That’s one of the most important things in life that seems so easy to forget…
There’s definitely a market for this type of travel. I don’t know of anyone in my circle who is not busy. Imagine having everything ready for you, and all you need is money then just to pack and go. Saves a lot of time researching the internet and booking services.
There are people who will help with packing as well, you know! ;-)
For me, part of the fun of travel is in the planning. That said, I can see how there is a definite call for a service like this. People are so busy chasing their tails these days that they can’t see the wood for the trees. We lead such busy lives that the temptation of just having someone take care of it all must be very great for quite a number of people.
I get that Jake but yes, you’re right… so many of us live such busy and hectic lives that having it all done for you must hold a lot of appeal for those people who are financially comfortable but relatively time poor.
I’ve got to admit that I enjoy planning my travel but some of the trips they offer are way out of my league. I’d love to do Chile but I wouldn’t know where to start. With many of these Awesome Experiences trips we’re into “Things we don’t know that we don’t know” territory. I’ll happily plan a gite holiday in France but I’ll leave a Tiger Safari in Rajasthan to the experts.

And then will they be able to snatch anything more than a week before the end of the financial year? Work just gets more and more intense. I think Awesome Experiences is on to something here.

I wouldn’t have much idea about how to plan one of these trips and even if I did I wouldn’t have the time to get it organised properly. A lot of us desperately need people like Awesome Experiences to take the trouble out of travel.
When I first read this I dismissed it as nonsense. Since then for better and for worse, work has grown and grown. I’m not complaining as the remuneration has improved too.
Much to my surprise I was drawn to look at this page again. I want a very special adventure but can not spare too many days away from the business.
