Nestled In the heart of the crystal clear, warm, and extremely inviting blue waters of the South Pacific, with golden sandy beaches and palm trees swaying in the gentle, warm tropical breeze, the adults-only luxury Tokoriki Island Resort is without doubt, the perfect, dream getaway for unparalleled relaxation.

Consistently recognised as one of the top resorts globally and in the Pacific, Tokoriki Island Resort offers the perfect quintessential idyllic island escape for those seeking both relaxation and romance and for those more active a range of things to do, in what is unquestionably the perfect South Pacific island dream setting.

Tokoriki Island Resort is located in the heart of Fiji’s stunning Mamanuca archipelago, the perfectly blissful setting, and with only 36 freestanding beachfront villas and bures, Tokoriki ensures an exclusive luxury experience with privacy for a maximum of only 72 guests, and with its contemporary design combined with traditional Fijian architecture at its heart, the villas, called bures in Fiji, also enjoying air-conditioned interiors, private pools and unique tropical outdoor showers, enveloped by lush tropical greenery.

So, this is the time to forget those digital distractions that pervade our daily lives back home and even in some climates, cold weather, because here at tropical Tokoriki couples are invited to reconnect with nature — and, of course, each other — at a stunning resort where excellent food, wellbeing and relaxation are at the very top of the agenda.

Imagine dining against the backdrop of the clear, blue waters of the Pacific with the resort’s excellent culinary team using the freshest local ingredients to curate a daily-changing menu, that marries South Pacific and Asian influences.  For a more bespoke and exclusive, romantic, dream experience, guests can choose from the Exclusive Champagne Jetty Dinner, dining under a canopy of stars, or how about this one for perfections: the In-Villa Indulgence, where a couples’ massage is followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner beside your personal pool; or even better perhaps, the Champagne Floating Breakfast or Lunch – a delightful meal served on a floating tray in your private pool, complemented by a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

You could also try Oishii Teppanyaki, with the chef’s table seating just four couples, the perfect way to meet new friends in a fun and intimate setting surrounded by amazing tropical gardens and lily ponds.  All simply perfect!

And why not let the stresses of daily life dissolve into the gentle rhythms of the island with a visit to The Tokoriki Spa? This sumptuous sanctuary features four couples’ treatment bures and what could be more relaxing with each bure designed with cascading water over volcanic rock walls. Try the ‘Unlimited 3-Day 60-Minute Massage Retreat’ to luxuriate in daily massages that are tailored to your preferences, ensuring you depart the island feeling utterly revitalised.

If all that wasn’t enough, a multitude of other experiences await, from the Champagne Island Beach Picnic on the nearby uninhabited Monu Island and diving and snorkelling adventures at the resort’s PADI 5-Star Dive Centre, to cultural enrichment opportunities where you can engage with authentic Fijian traditions through activities such as basket weaving, herbal medicine walks and traditional kava ceremonies, with kava a very special local South Pacific non-alcoholic drink, especially prepared for the kava ceremony by locals and served in coconut shells.

But don’t just take our word for it… Tokoriki’s first-class offering has been recognised by a string of high-profile accolades, including recognition in Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Top 15 Resorts and Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards as the #1 Resort in the South Pacific.

Honours such as these underscore the resort’s dedication to creating an idyllic haven for couples seeking both luxury and intimacy. Indeed, as one couple put it, “From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty”, adding, “The resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and Fijian culture, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a unique and immersive experience.”

  1. The South Pacific is getting near to the top of my list for travel. Nice reminder of why I’m so keen to get there.

  2. We’re talking the best of the best here. When a place is named as one of Conde Nast’s top resorts you’re looking at a hotel that’s keeping very exalted company.

  3. Looking back, I did a round the world flight in my late 20s. I thought it was the thing to do, a last fling before I “settled down” and at the time it was a really good deal, too good to turn down.

I spent 3 nights in Fiji which was way too short. I’ve always regretted not going for longer and if I go back I’ll certainly stay longer and do it in style.

  4. Although I haven’t got too much against children and now have a brood of grandchildren when it comes to holidays I like to have a choice and usually I go for adults only. Especially when it’s a paradise like this.

  5. Suddenly being put together with 3 other couples at the Oishii Teppanyaki could be real fun.

We’ve had dinner in small intimate restaurants like that and often found that we’ve had a lot in common with the other guests. As you’ve chosen the same restaurant in the same restaurant it’s quite likely that you’ve got a lot in common and the conversation flows.

  6. Gotta go to Tokoriki Island Resort and it could be the place for our honeymoon.

BUT it’s a long way to go for one resort.

Could we have more on the South Pacific PLEASE???

  7. My goddaughter had a charity placement in Fiji for 2 months of her gap year between university and starting work. Her photos and stories were incredible though I’d much prefer the comforts of Tokoriki than her fairly primitive accommodation.

  8. The South Pacific is one of the few places that still hangs onto a magical allure. To be honest, a package holiday flight can take you to the Maldives or Seychelles and nowadays there are more safaris than then are rhinos.

But the South Pacific is another challenge. Travellers have to get themselves there and that’s keeping some of the magic for Fiji as an exclusive destination.

  9. It would be some journey from Heathrow or Gatwick to Fiji but it would be a trip of a lifetime to stay in such tropical luxury.

  10. I’m enjoying doing my research on Fiji, seeing all the great images and reading reviews of potential resorts where we could stay is almost as good as actually being there. This resort looks as good as any, if not better, than any I’ve come across so far.

  11. When a resort gets an award from Vonde Naste it’s a huge sign that they’re going about their business in the right way and going over and beyond in many areas.

What also impresses my about Tomoriki is how many activities there which will get you to interact with the locals and leave having a strong feeling of what Fiji is all about.
