Conrad Algarve hosts Cristina Bergoglio exhibition
ArtCatto Gallery in Loulé is currently presenting the work of the painter and architect Cristina Bergoglio at the Conrad Algarve Hotel in Quinta do Lago, Portugal.
Argentine artist Cristina creates mixed media cityscapes, that have been inspired by her passion for dance and an interest in the fast pace and movement of cities. The works feature cities such as Lisbon, New York, Paris, Madrid, Buenos Aires and Singapore each with a sense of fluidity that really brings the paintings to life.
Cristina explains, The city is always a thing of vitality, of movement and sensuality. What I care about is the movement, the urban dance, and to achieve that I use a brush stroke thats intense, fast and spontaneous.
The newly opened Conrad Algarve Hotel will be hosting the exhibition throughout. Since opening at the end of 2012, it has made its mark in the area as a high end luxury hotel. Standard rooms are beyond typical expectations with the rooms more spacious than most, and facilities such as a media and entertainment centre and HD televisions feature in every room. Not forgetting the bathtubs with built in television and rain showers for an indulgent bath time.
Whilst for the most discerning guests, the Conrad Suite may be more preferable. Providing guests with a contemporary home from home with no small details overlooked, accommodation includes a living room, dining room and the services of a Personal Host to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.
For the ultimate indulgence, the Roof Garden Suite offers total privacy and exclusivity. This impressive suite provides guests with a private entrance and parking, plus direct access to the hotel spa via a bridge. Entertaining is not a problem thanks to the full kitchen and large lounge. Your Personal Host is on hand should you require anything. After a hard day relaxing, take time out to admire the views whilst soaking in the infinity pool before heading to the private sauna and steam bath.
A visit to the hotels flagship restaurant, Gusto by Heinz Beck comes highly recommended for those in search of a gourmet experience. Led by Michelin starred chef Heinz Beck, this vibrant restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining. Alternatively, treat yourself to cocktails or a celebratory glass of champagne in any of the hotels elegant bars.
The art exhibition will be running at the Conrad Algarve Hotel until the end of June 2013.
