Ever wondered what it would be like to really see a city through a local’s eyes? Well, now you can. At Switzerland Tourism, they’ve come up with the free and easy Make My Switzerland app, which sidesteps the tourist traps to take you straight to the heart of a city and the locals who live and breathe it.

They have drafted in 30 local ambassadors from Switzerland’s main cities and asked them for their favourite insider tips in cities such as Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Lucerne, Lugano & Zürich. And they’ve then compiled all the information on the new Make My Switzerland app, with the aim of targeting a younger, urban and trendy audience.

By downloading the app, you can either search by city, ambassador or let your mood do the searching. The app is packed with inspiring tips, from the coolest shops to the best restaurants, all recommended by the ambassadors.
