Photograph of the week: Waterfall sunset from Kauai, Hawaii

This beautiful sunset was captured at one of the many little waterfalls at Queen’s Bath, Kauai, Hawaii. Here the ocean collects in the black lava rock to create a stunning natural swimming pool. It is also home to a variety of small sea creatures including the vibrant angelfish. While in the Winter months it is considered dangerous due to the vigorous waves and currents, during the Summer the tide pool is generally calm and is a popular swimming hole for those who know how to find it.

Oh so beautiful. My Wife and I plan to visit 4 of the main Islands of Hawaii in October. I would love to take a surfing lesson :)
