  1. I’ve only stayed in a Hyatt once and that was for business quite a few years ago. It was very pleasant, on the pricier side and with a touch of luxury compared to other chain hotels I’d stayed in for business previously. They do tend to have a positive reputation that’s stuck with them over the years, but I’ve always seen them as more of a luxury brand. It would be interesting to stay in one now and see how things might have changed (if I could afford it of course!)

I’d anticipate quite a few hotels will be cutting prices or promoting offers to kick start the return to normality and get business rolling again. It’ll be a while before we do return to normality but I guess we’ve got to start somewhere. The third night free is quite appealing, especially when you throw in the comp brekkie for two, early and late check ins and outs respectively, and the hotel credit. I think the added extras are particularly attempting for me because those things on their own can really add up when it comes to the full price paid. Thanks for sharing the offer. I’ll keep this in mind as it covers stays into next year, when I’d like to think – hope – we can get back to moving and working and travelling again.

    1. Hello Ruth. I am happy to hear that the additional benefits are particularly appealing. We offer these at 2000 hotels worldwide. In combination with the promotion from Hyatt, luxury hotels are currently easily affordable. I expect prices to rise again over the next few months – so now is the ideal time to make reservations.

    2. Hey Guido – how do you go about obtaining this promotion? My spouse is a Travel Advisor with Preferred Hyatt status. We called one of the Grand Hyatts in the US but they didn’t know anything about this particular promotion..??

    3. Hello Elle.
Your spouse will then have access to this promotion. I can well imagine that the reservation departments in the hotels have no knowledge of this promotion as it can only be booked through specific travel agents.
If you would let me know the hotel and date I can tell you if it is available.

    4. Aghhh gotcha. Yeah I’m looking for Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, June 19-21. Thank you!

    5. The Grand Hyatt Tampa is one of the few, which is no offering this promotion. You could have a look at the nearby Hyatt Regency Sarasota – there, the promotion is valid, and the 3rd night free rates are loaded in the GDS.

  2. A great promo to entice travelers. Also, perfect validity dates as it can be used to book until early next year, which I think would be a lot safer for tourism to start fully opening its doors. Well, we all hope for this. Amazing value for money when you consider all the upgrades and vouchers you get aside from the free night. I’d be considering this offer maybe before the booking period expires by September, just to see where we all are at with this pandemic. But this gives me hope.

    1. Indeed a perfect promo Kristin. It is time again to visit a hotel, to experience something, and to be pampered. Do not wait too long with the booking as continents are limited and could already be not available in some hotels at the end of summer.
