Suddenly remote working has changed the way I travel. I can’t be out of the office for ever though being away for 3 to 4 weeks at a time is possible.
5 years ago a long stay in Nelson Tasman would only have been a vague dream, now it’s a real possibility and if I travelled over weekends it wouldn’t burn up valuable holidays.
Sky High Retreat isn’t just somewhere you’d want for a long stay. It’s so luxurious that personally I’d find it hard to ever leave.
Now you’ve got me thinking. We’ve got a big anniversary, plus a BIG birthday coming up in 2025 so this could be a good way of getting some quality family time.
With lots of sunshine hours and a Mediterranean climate, great local frensh food and wine, lots of family activities on your doorstep, I can not think of a better place to relax.
It’s interesting how travel’s changing and how some of us are looking to slow down and put down roots for a few weeks. Very understandable when it’s somewhere as beautiful as Nelson Tasman.
The photos are all absolutely stunning. Of the sunset, the beach, the villa and of course the landscape.
Adventure and thrills are great though as I get older I’m always eager to get back to some luxury to wind down again and relax.
