Baros, Maldives There seems to have been a growing trend for overwater bungalows and, at Baros in the Maldives, they seem to have got it just right. The 30 villas are served by not just one, but three restaurants. The accommodation is stylishly finished and there’s attention to detail in the quality of the service provided. Stay before the year is out and you could enjoy a minimum of four nights plus breakfast, a 5-course dinner, 2 spa treatments, a sunset cruise and transfers, for just $640 a night.
