Scotland’s sexiest hotel

The GlasshouseThe Glasshouse hotel in  Edinburgh is apparently Scotland‘s sexiest hotel. At least, so say the 2007 Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards. Amenities such as floor-to-ceiling guest room windows, glass bathrooms, Aveda products, complimentary personal business cards, plasma TVs and a lavender-scented rooftop garden are all on offer. The top award of Scottish Hotel of the Year went to the Old Course Hotel at St. Andrews. Here are the full results from the awards ceremony:

  1. The Old course Hotel is a lovely hotel with fab views of the Old Course and St Andrews. The spa is fabulous as is the restaurants – a really nice part of the world.

    Turnberry Hotel in Troon is also a great hotel not just for golfers – it is completely closed at the moment for renovations and will reopen in July 09 just in time for the Golf Open. They are completely renovating everything including the restaurants so it will be interesting to see how much it has changed!
