I wonder if people perceive the food to be better because its served in a whacky location?

There’s a newish upmarket restaurant in Pattaya, Thailand called The Bed (thebedpattaya.com). One of their selling points is that they have private bed areas in the restaurant. Urk. Call me old fashioned but I go to restaurants in the expectation of good food.
