HotelShark, an online lodging guide, has this week bestowed the Fin Award for Service Quality on the Malmaison Edinburgh. A recent guest of the hotel described it to HotelShark as a “trendy city hotel” with “power showers,” “sophisticated” guestrooms, and a “hotspot” of a bar. With “young and friendly” employees, this “converted seaman’s hospital” is said to be the “perfect place to stay for a sexy city weekend.” The Malmaison Edinburgh is the second Edinburgh hotel to receive the website’s fin award (the other being the Fountain Court Apartments on Grove Street).
