Most expensive city in the world

The fact that Moscow has overtaken Tokyo as the world’s most expensive city has got a lot of media attention recently. Mercer Human Resource Consulting‘s survey of 144 cities across six continents also showed Seoul move up in the rankings, pushing Tokyo down into third place. Many of the changes are due to exchange rate fluctuations such as the strengthening of the US dollar. More details can be found here.
