Lake Placid's Whiteface Lodge recognised by elite travel publications

The Whiteface Lodge has just marked its first anniversary and what an opening year it has been! it is one of only two properties in the USA to be included in the recent Robb Report “Best of the Best” 2006 Special Issue, alongside Wynn Las Vegas, and is included in the Condé Nast Traveler 2006 Hot List as one of the best new hotels in the world. Celebrated Living, the luxury publication for American Airlines’ premium class passengers, calls it “Lake Placid’s newest, most luxurious hotel” which is some claim given the quality of the accommodation in the area.
