Swarovski Crystal Worlds near Innsbruck, Austria

Swarovski Crystal MuseumRe-opened in December 2003, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, in Wattens near Innsbruck, is a must-see for anyone visiting Austria.    Catering for both adults and children, the entrance to this fabulous museum – face of a giant covered in grass, with crystals for eyes and a waterfall coming from its mouth  – is perhaps its most iconic feature.   The impressive entry sets the standard for what is inside the museum.   Visit during the Winter Festival (ends 31st March 2007) and you will be given the opportunity to learn about Russian traditions (previous festivals gave insights into China, Australia and Iceland).
