Trump gets his way in Scotland

Earlier this year, I documented that Donald Trump’s plans  for a new golf resort in Scotland were rejected.   Now it appears that that decision has been overturned.   According to the BBC, the $1 billion resort in Aberdeenshire will get the green light afterall. There remains significant opposition to the project for environmental reasons.   Meanwhile, according to Trump, they are going to “build the greatest golf course in the world”.

  1. he may say it will be the greatest golf course in the world (not sure that he will be able to claim that given some of the amazing courses already available in scotland and the rest of the world!) but doubt he will ever be able to say its the greenest given the environmental issues this project has raised!
