The iconic Preikestolen – also known as Pulpit Rock – rises over 600 metres above Norway’s Lysefjord. Take the hike and enjoy the spectacular views from the top. From the closest car park, the hike takes around 3 to 4 hours. It is not recommended that you tackle this in Winter or Spring as the route can be icy and slippery in places – a good alternative then is to take the ferry trip on Lysefjord itself and admire the landmark from there.
