The top 3 luxury safari and beach combinations

Safari and beach holidays and honeymoons are some of the most coveted and wondrous things people do – often after one of these luxury safaris people get bitten by the ‘African bug’ and end up returning over and over again. There are hundreds of amazing luxury safari destinations and hundreds of wonderfully remote and beautiful beach destinations – Africa really does have it all – here are our top three luxury safari and beach combinations: 1. South Africa & Mozambique South Africa is well known for having some of the most unique features in Africa – not only have you got access to some of the best game viewing in the world, but you also have the stunning Winelands, the Garden Route, the Battlefields, the Drakensberg and Cape Town, one of the World’s most cosmopolitan cities. From South Africa you can easily fly on to Mozambique which is also famous for having some of the most beautiful archipelago’s – Bazaruto or Quirimbas offer you the chance of seeing some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. South Africa Mozambique 2. Tanzania & Zanzibar This combination is fantastic as logistically it’s very simple with direct flights from most of Tanzania’s incredible luxury safari destinations. Tanzania still boasts huge tracts of land with lots of wildlife and no people, this is what Africa is all about and you can often find yourself travelling between two completely different locations, and feeling as you have been to two countries, so different is the topography and game species. Tanzania also has a strong cultural element and you can have an authentic experience with the charming Masai tribe when in Northern Tanzania. After a short light aircraft flight you can then find yourself on an island, or on a white sandy beach with the turquoise Indian Ocean waters lapping at your feet – Zanzibar has everything from small boutique lodges to larger luxury hotels and the seafood is a highlight! Tanzania 3. Zambia & Mauritius This combination is little known but does offer an amazing chance to get into some of Africa’s most remote game viewing locations – Zambia also boasts the magical Victoria Falls and the South Luangwa, which is arguably the best place in Africa to see leopards. Kafue in Zambia still offers guests a chance to see remote and wild parts of Africa, which have very few camps, but have a lot of wildlife. Mauritius is a white sandy paradise with tropical vegetation, mountains and azure waters – you’ll spend the last days of your trip soaking up the sun from a luxury and spoiling hotel – Mauritius is made up mostly of larger luxury hotels and this in turn means they all have fantastic water sports facilities and wonderful spas. I’ve been talking to my partner about Africa. So, so keen to do a Safari trip. I think it’d just be so inspiring. Really beneficial for the mind.

I saw this video the other day of this guy over there with his GoPro. He went with Lion’s, Hyena’s, and got the opportunity to see them grow up. So special.

Thanks for this. This is gonna be great.
