Photograph of the week: Bandos Island in the Maldives

This image is from Bandos Island in the Maldives. The idea was to create an image that showed a simple yet traditional element of the Maldives, but which also captured the beauty and diversity of the marine life beneath the surface. It also shows a very different view of the Maldives, not the obvious white sand/blue sea images which are so typical of the region. Bandos Island Thank you to Antony Spencer of Light and Land for permission to re-produce the image.
