I don’t have much of idea about Myanmar as a tourist destination. Seems like it has some historically important places to visit… I loved the photograph of the week…
It is definitely a charismatic place to travel. Don’t underestimate this place – it is massive. You will need minimum 3 days to explore the beautiful collection of pagodas and stupas. The best time to come is between November and February when the temperature reaches 30 degrees and you can see Bagan Archeological Zone from the above – from the hot air balloons.
The best way to explore Bagan on land is on a horse carriage at first and then you can rent a motorbike and explore the temples at your own pace and see them in detail. Ask the locals which temples are the best for the sunsets and sunrise – try to avoid the overpacked by tourist tallest temples.
