How do you choose between hotels of this calibre?
Probably brand and reputation has a lot to do with it. And I’ve got to say that some of my best days have been when Six Senses are looking after me.
You don’t choose! You design an itinerary to take in as many of these wonderful hotels as possible.
This post has reminded me that I had a trip booked to The Sarojin for May 2020. I wonder what could possibly have got in the way of that?
We’re glad those days are behind us Dave! Hopefully you can get to the Sarojin in the future!
These hotels are a cut above the sort of places that I usually stay in when I go to Thailand. Total luxury.
Sue Perkins’ series “Lost in Thailand” on Channel 5 paints a very interesting picture of Thailand. Add in a few of these great hotels and you would have a great time.
That aerial shot shows that it would be hard to beat the Six Senses on location.
I’d be signing up for cooking demonstrations at The Slate. I’ve done demonstrations in other countries and you learn so much about the local people from how they cook food.
That blend of big glass windows and local wood looks so appealing. In all of these properties. The sort of place that you really want to be enjoying from the inside for a lengthy holiday.
I’ve really enjoyed the recent series of Race Across the World and liked what I saw of Thailand though it was all too brief.
This level of luxurious accommodation is much more to my liking than sleeping on long distance buses.
