Less than a month ago, I revealed that I was going to give Twitter a try – despite having some reservations about it. A Luxury Travel Blog’s Twitter account today passed over 500 followers. All this on the back of close-to-zero promotion – the only thing I have really done is mention it in an earlier blog post, and added details to the blog’s subscription page. I find this growth particularly surprising given that another Twitter account for tourism in the UK that I have been actively working on, has amassed just over 200 subscribers in the same period. How come the blog’s so much more popular on Twitter, I wonder?
