Yesterday marked the highly-anticipated opening of Southern Arizona’s newest luxury property, The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. Situated northwest of Tucson, in the scenic town of Marana, the picturesque 250-room resort is spread out over 850 acres of lush Sonoran Desert in the Tortolita Foothills. The resort is offering introductory rates starting from $259.

I ran in the 2000 Tucson Marathon and the race started right where that property will be located. It is cold up there in the mornings. It must have been 30 degrees, but it was November. But the view and clean crisp air will make this place awesome.
