The Tides Inn, Chesapeake Bay, Virginia

The Tides Inn, Chesapeake Bay, VirginiaLocated on 480 acres and surrounded by gardens and hidden sitting areas, The Tides Inn has undergone something of a transformation. Thanks to over $10 million of investment, there are now 106 impeccably appointed and spacious rooms and suites, as well as  four restaurants. But for golfers the real attraction of the Tides Inn is the Golden Eagle Golf Club, called by one golf publication “the toughest course that no one has ever heard of”. The location is also superb,  overlooking its own  award-winning marina on Carter’s Creek.
