Sofitel sells 6 hotels

A portfolio of six Sofitel hotels has been sold for $370 million. Accor sold the six hotels to a joint venture comprised of GEM Realty Capital and Whitehall Street Global Real Estate Limited Partnership 2005, but will maintain a 25% stake. The hotels included in the deal are located in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Minneapolis and Washington, D.C. Accor operates more than 4,000 hotels in 92 countries, including nearly 200 under the Sofitel brand.
