In Beatty, 120 miles north of Las Vegas, a developer is planning an extravagant $2 billion project. The Xtreme Cars and Stars hotel, casino and condo complex will include a $2.1 million NASCAR racetrack, a jogging track around a manmade lake, and 18-hole championship golf course, not to mention the 27-storey towers with over 2,500 condos, timeshares and hotel rooms.
