Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide is to open its first Le Meridien hotel since its acquisition of the chain in November 2005. The hotel, in San Francisco, is currently a Park Hyatt hotel, but will be re-branded and managed by Merritt Hospitality, a division of HEI Hospitality which owns the property. The hotel will also benefit from a $10 million renovation.
