The new Sofitel Grand Sukhumvit Bangkok opened on Wednesday in the prestigious Soi 6 area of Sukhumvit, Bangkok. The accommodation consists of 386 rooms (of which 241 are suites) and the hotel’s facilities include 24-hour dining at Café de Nimes, which specialises in Mediterranean cuisine – ideal for the jet-lagged traveller wanting something to eat out of normal hours. To celebrate the opening, a promotional rate of 3,100 baht (US$84) a night including breakfast is available for a limited period.
