World Cup 2006 – Group H: Saudi Arabia team hotel

Hotel Dolce, Bad NauheimWe’ve finally come to the end of our month-long daily look at the hotels occupied by the participating teams of the 2006 Fifa World Cup.   The Hotel Dolce  in the financial capital of Bad Nauheim is already occupied the Saudi Arabian national side who arrived last Saturday in ample time to prepare for their first game. Apparently the hotel has had to remove all alcohol, pornographic channels and paintings that include nudity so as not to offend their Muslim guests. Germany is a very liberal country (where prostituion is even legal!) but I’m sure this luxurious hotel will be only too happy to please their guests and oblige in every way possible. The above is one of a series of blog entries highlighting the luxury hotels that will be home to the national teams participating in the 2006 Fifa World Cup. If you have actually stumbled upon this page because you are looking for accommodation for the World Cup, try A Germany Hotel which lists hotels throughout the country, caters for a variety of budgets, and offers online booking.
