Fire at the Kabul InterContinental Hotel

A fire broke out at the five-star Kabul InterContinental Hotel yesterday. The cause of the fire – which occurred just after 6pm – is currently unknown although some staff have been taken into custody for investigation. The blaze was brought under control within one and a half hours and thankfully there have been no casualties.
