Construction of Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe underway

Construction of the Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe – which I mentioned back in April – has begun. The official groundbreaking ceremony  of Tahoe’s first five-star luxury hotel took place earlier this week. The $300-million  resort project is still expected to be completed for late 2009 with sales of the resort’s first phase of residences expected to commence this winter.
