Ian Schrager’s Gramercy Park Hotel opens in New York

Ian Schrager, who pioneered the idea of boutique hotels in the mid-80s with Morgans in New York following a successful career as a nightclub owner, has most recently teamed up with artist and film director Julian Schnabel. Their first partnership has reached completion in the form of the five-star  Gramercy Park Hotel on Lexington Avenue, New York which has opened this week.
