Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva prepares to open
Kempinski Hotels will unveils its newest European hotel – the Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva. The five star lakefront hotel, once known as the Noga Hilton, is currently being refurbished from top to bottom. Tjca Architects is designing the hotel’s exterior with a light and futuristic feel and the hotel’s interior design, playing with textures and natural light, will create a contemporary feel. The hotel will ‘softly’ open with 230 rooms – in time for Geneva’s 77th International Motor Show – and the remaining 200 rooms, a restaurant, brasserie, lounge, bar, and extensive meeting and conference facilities will open in May 2007. The brand-new, duplex Geneva Suite will be one of the city’s largest – with breathtaking views over Geneva, plus a private spa and gym.
