New luxury tents at Bayethe Lodge, Shamwari

Shamwari Game Reserve, in the malaria-free Eastern Cape of South Africa,  has added three ultra-luxurious tents to its deluxe tented camp, Bayethe Lodge. Boasting all the creature comforts, the tents are air conditioned and heated, include teak floors, canvas sides, thatched roofs, fold-away aluminum doors and fireplaces. The bathrooms feature two basins, separate indoor baths and outdoor showers. Each tent has an outdoor viewing deck with a plunge pool and an outdoor pool bed for two. Rooms are equipped with a television, telephone, room safe, hairdryer and minibar.
