Grand Canyon Skywalk opens

The Grand Canyon Skywalk opened just a few hours ago. This horseshoe-shaped, glass-bottomed structure juts out 70 feet beyond the canyon rim, offering superb views of the Grand Canyon, not to mention a 4,000-foot drop below. Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin was the first to walk out on to the platform and declared it a “magnificent first walk”.
